A shutter mechanism is adapted to be provided to a grill opening in a vehicle body. Opening and closing operations of the shutter mechanism are controlled by an electronic control unit (ECU). The ECU determines whether a vehicle is in a traveling end state (step 101). If the vehicle is in the traveling end state (i.e., YES in step S101), the ECU determines whether or not the shutter mechanism is in an open state (steps S103 to S108). If the ECU determines that the open state of the shutter mechanism cannot be confirmed (step S108), the ECU controls the shutter mechanism to open the shutter mechanism (step S109). |
