Protective case with cleaning element A protective carry case 1 for an electronic device also cleans one or more faces of said device. A contact area is arranged on a cleaning element 2 and a drive means harnesses the kinetic energy from the action of pushing the device into, or withdrawing it from the case 1. The drive means may comprise a roller 9 made of anti-slip material connected to a pulley on the cleaning cylinder 2 by a belt 8. The cleaning element may comprise a cylinder 2 driven at a speed greater than the movement of the device relative to the case 1. A gear mechanism (not shown) may be included to vary the rotational speed of the cleaning element 2. The cleaning element 2 may be driven in a direction counter to the movement of the device, thus enhancing the cleaning action.
