<p>The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for determining a transport block size (TBS) in a wireless communications system. A TBS value is set in a manner that makes a code rate equal to or less than a threshold value for each number of physical resource block (PRB) pairs that can be assigned. A base station transmits, to user terminal, control information including modulation and coding scheme (MCS) information and resource allocation information. In addition, the base station generates a payload from a code block of the set TBS value and transmits the payload to the user terminal. The user terminal determines a TBS value based on the MCS information and resource allocation information, and receives downlink transmission by using TBS information. When a code block is segmented and transmitted, the size of a code block segment can be a size reducing performance degradation at a high code rate.</p> |
