Provided is an apparatus of estimating a drivable region which includes a laser sensor part which is installed to a moving body which drives on the ground and obtains the distance information to the ground corresponding to resolution angles, and a control part which coordinates the distance information based on the distance information and estimates a drivable region on the ground corresponding to the extracted coordinates based on a predetermined extraction reference among the coordinates of the distance information coordinated.
