PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for preparation of a tungsten-based catalyst for a hydrotreatment or hydrocracking process.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a process for preparation of a catalyst for carrying out a hydrogenation reaction in hydrotreatment and hydrocracking processes. The catalyst is prepared from at least one kind of tungsten (W)-based mononuclear precursor compound and at least one kind of a Mo precursor if any, and at least one kind of a promoter element from the Group VIII if any, where the mononuclear precursor is in a form of a monomer or a dimer, and has at least one W=O or W-OR bond or at least one W=S or W-SR bond, where R=CH, where x≥1 and (x-1)≤y≤(2x+1), or R=Si(OR')or R=Si(R'), where R'=CHand x'≥1 and (x'-1)≤y'≤(2x'+1). The precursor is deposited on an oxide support suitable for a process in which the precursor is used, and the catalyst is advantageously sulfurized before deployed in the process. |
