<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document transport device capable of determining accurately jam occurrence by a jam noise.SOLUTION: A document transport device 100 includes: an analog sound signal generation part 141 for generating an analog sound signal in accordance with a sound generated by a document being transported; a correction signal generation part 144 for generating, as a correction signal, a signal obtained by peak-holding or wave-detecting the analog sound signal; a digital conversion part 145 for generating a digital sound signal produced by sampling and digital-converting the correction signal; and an acoustic jam determination part 153 for determining whether a jam has occurred on the basis of the digital sound signal.</p> |
