<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation displacement connector for a daisy chain capable of resolving a problem that, in a conventional insulation displacement connector for a daisy chain, a contact datum plane and a wiring direction of a cable datum plane intersect at right angles, and thus, height cannot be reduced.SOLUTION: In an insulation displacement connector 1 for a daisy chain, an insulation displacement contact is press-fitted and attached to a contact housing part provided on a cable fitting of a connector housing, and a cable and a cable housing are press-fitted and attached to the cable fitting part. A pressure-contact part and a connection part of the insulation displacement contact are formed so that a cable datum plane, which is a reference surface including center lines of a plurality of cables pressed into respective pressure-contact parts of a plurality of juxtaposed insulation displacement contacts, and a contact datum plane, which is a reference surface including center lines of the connection parts of the plurality of juxtaposed insulation displacement contacts, become parallel to each other.</p> |
