<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly detect presence/absence of a person by restricting a human body detection area of a human body sensor to a necessary range, and to achieve power saving surely without a user operating.SOLUTION: An electric carpet 10A, which is an electric apparatus 10, includes a power supply and a human body sensor 12 being interlocked with the control of the power supply. A detection area A of the human body sensor 12 is set to be restricted to a predetermined range substantially approximating to a shape of the electric carpet 10A. The human body sensor 12 comprises an infrared sensor including a light receiving element for receiving infrared ray energy made incident and a lens for condensing light on the light receiving element. It restricts the detection area by lowering light receiving sensitivity of an unnecessary part by partially changing thickness of the lens.</p> |
