FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cathode pack for an aluminium electrolytic cell. The cathode pack comprises a layer of composite containing graphite and solid material such TiB, present with single mode granulometric composition, while damounts to 10 - 20 mcm, in particular to 12 - 18 mcm, preferably to 14 - 16 mcm.
