<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation device for giving no adverse effects on the operating condition of an internal combustion engine by preventing condensed water generated in an intake passage of the internal combustion engine from flowing into a combustion chamber.SOLUTION: The exhaust gas recirculation device includes an intake passage 5 of an internal combustion engine 1 where intake air flows, an exhaust passage 11 of the internal combustion engine 1 where exhaust gas flows, an exhaust gas recirculation passage 18 connecting an exhaust gas outlet 16 opening in the exhaust passage 11 and an exhaust gas recirculation inlet 14 opening in the intake passage 5, and a control valve 19 provided in the exhaust gas recirculation passage 18 for controlling the recirculation amount of exhaust gas to be introduced into the intake passage 5. The exhaust gas recirculation inlet 14 is provided in the intake passage 5 at its lowest position, and the exhaust gas recirculation passage 18 has an upper end connected to the exhaust gas recirculation inlet 14 of the intake passage 5 arranged above the exhaust passage 11 and a lower end connected to the exhaust gas outlet 16 of the exhaust passage 11 arranged below the intake passage 5.</p> |
