Provided are: an aluminium chelate compound which is useful as a curing catalyst for a room-temperature-curable resin; and a room-temperature-curable resin composition including said compound. Provided is an aluminium chelate compound provided with a &bgr;-dicarbonyl compound represented by formula (1) (in formula (1): R1-R3 represent monovalent hydrocarbon groups or halogen substituents; R4 represents hydrogen or a monovalent hydrocarbon group; and A represents a group selected from formula (2) (in formula (2), R5-R7 represent monovalent hydrocarbon groups or halogen substituents) or -OR8 (R8 represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group)). Also provided is a room-temperature-curable resin composition including said aluminium chelate compound.
