Disclosed are an apparatus and a method to control noise of a wind power generator. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus to reduce noise of the wind power generator includes: a noise detecting unit to detect noise from the wind power generator; an acoustic output unit to output sound to cancel the noise; a speed detecting unit to detect the rotational speed of the wind power generator; and a control unit to output a first sound to cancel the noise detected by the noise detecting unit via an acoustic output unit if the noise detecting unit is operated properly, and to output a second sound stored to cancel the noise generated from the current rotational speed conditions detected by the sound detecting unit if the noise detecting unit does not work properly.
