The present disclosure relates to compounds effective as human protein tyrosine phosphatase beta (HPTP- ²) inhibitors thereby regulating angiogenesis. The present disclosure further relates to compositions comprising one or more human protein tyrosine phosphatase beta (HPTP-) inhibitors, and to methods for regulating angiogenesis.
