[Class 98 (ii)] Lines outlining the design from the background are produced by making a negative by exposure with or without the use of an interposed screen element and by subsequent development, re-exposure of the negative with or without an interposed screen element, either without or with partial fixing and by re-developing and fixing. As shown, after the first exposure and development a negative comprises a white field 1 and a dark background 2. A pattern 3 is produced on the white field 1 by a second exposure through a screen by direct contact or by projection. After re-development a white outline 4 is produced. |
