PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery having its power generation element sealed by covering it with a sheathing film, which can prevent stresses caused by various vibration acting on the battery after its installation from getting concentrated in the vicinity of a boundary between a sealing portion of the sheathing film and an electrode tab led out from the sealing portion to the outside. SOLUTION: A battery 10 includes a power generation element 11 which is covered with a pair of sheathing films 12 and 13 so as to be sandwiched in between and then sealed between the two sheathing films 12 and 13 by joining the peripheral portions thereof together and an electrode tab 14 provided for transmitting/receiving current to/from the power generation element 11, which is lead out from a sealing portion B of the sheathing films 12 and 13 to the outside. The electrode tab 14 has, on its tip side from a boundary L between the sealing portion B and itself, a bellows portion 17 in which the electrode tab 14 has its faces bent in shape of waves.
