摘要 An active matrix substrate is disclosed, enabling to suppress variation in signal voltages among pixel electrodes. An active matrix substrate includes: an insulating substrate; a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged in a matrix on the insulating substrate; and a source wiring extending in a column direction so as to overlap with two pixel electrodes adjacent to each other in a row direction on the insulating substrate. The pixel electrodes and the source wiring are formed in different layers via an insulating film, the source wiring has a main line portion and extension portions extended from both sides of the main line portion, and the extension portion is formed of a transparent conductive material.

An active matrix substrate comprising: an insulating substrate; a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged in a matrix on the insulating substrate; a gate wiring extending in a row direction; and a source wiring extending in a column direction so as to overlap with two pixel electrodes adjacent to each other in the row direction on the insulating substrate, wherein the pixel electrodes and the source wiring are formed in different layers via an insulating film,the source wiring crosses the gate wiring,the source wiring has a main line portion extending in the column direction and extension portions extended from both sides of the main line portion in the row direction, the extension portions being arranged along the main line portion that extends in the column direction such that a first one of the extension portions overlaps a first one of the two adjacent pixel electrodes and a second one of the extension portions overlaps a second one of the two adjacent pixel electrodes, and the main line portion including at least one layer formed of a different material from layers of the extension portions such that the at least one layer of the main line portion is formed of a light shielding material and the layers of the extension portions are formed of a transparent conductive material,the source wiring has a first region and a second region adjacent to the first region in the column direction,the first region includes the main line portion of the source wiring extending in the column direction and at least one of the extension portions of the source wiring extending in the row direction and the second region consists of the main line portion of the source wiring extending in the column direction, a wiring width of the first region of the source wiring is greater than a wiring width of the second region of the source wiring, and the extension portion is formed of a transparent conductive material.
