PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size and low-cost electric power conversion system capable of reliably and rapidly detecting a rapid abnormal increase in temperature of a PW element by a small number of T elements, even on the occurrence of a short circuit.SOLUTION: In an electric power conversion system 100, two or more PW elements 1-4 are classified into an upstream group U on the side of a B+ terminal and a downstream group L on the side of B- terminal; one T element Tu and one T element Tl are arranged in the upstream and downstream groups U and L, respectively; and a temperature difference between the T element Tu of the upstream group U and the T element Tl of the downstream group L is detected for detection of an abnormal increase in the temperatures of the PW elements 1-4. |
