<p>In a method for generating needlework-control data so as to operate a needlework program in a step of inducing a seam sewing step, a seam is primarily divided into a plurality of parameter-seam sections (a1, b1, c1, d1). At least one appointed-seam position (P1, P2, P3) is assigned on the seam. At least one appointed-needlework-parameter value is assigned for the appointed-seam position (P1, P2, P3). An assigned-needlework-parameter value is assigned for a seam section on which at least one appointed-seam position (P1, P2, P3) is put. Needlework-control data is generated in a method for operating a sewing device for producing a seam. Then, the seam is sewed by being started from a needlework-start point (17). A related needlework-parameter is automatically converted when two continuous seam sections (a1/b1, b1/c1, c1/d1) are replaced with each other. To perform the method, comprised in the present invention are: a sewing device; a memory module for the position and length of a seam section (a1 to d1) and for a related needlework-parameter; a detecting module for detecting the needlework position of each seam; and a converting module which automatically converts a needlework-parameter when replacement is performed between two continuous seam sections (a1 to d1). As a result, a seam in which different needlework-parameters can be used in various seam sections can be flexibly and simply sewed.</p> |
