PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire, capable of improving wet grip performance while maintaining good wear resistance and fuel efficiency, and to provide a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the rubber composition for a tire, which contains a rubber component, silica, and an inorganic compound whose crystal system is hexagonal. The content of the silica is 5-150 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. The content of the inorganic compound is 2-10 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the silica. |
