摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the comfortableness in riding on an electric train by eliminating a behavior of a driven vehicle vibrating front- and back-ward in between electric vehicles, repeatedly colliding with the vehicles when decelerating exerted by a motored-vehicle-prioritized brake control system.SOLUTION: A brake control method employing a motored-vehicle-prioritized brake control system used for an electric train 1 constituted by inter-connecting at least two electric vehicles 2, 3 and at least one driven vehicle 4, 5 sandwiched between the electric vehicles 2, 3 with couplers that are provided with shock absorbers, the method in which, when the train is decelerating with only the electric vehicles 2, 3 enduring braking power required for the constituted train using electric brakes while the driven vehicle 4, 5 endures none of the aforementioned braking power, a load ratio of the braking power exerted by the electric brake of one electric vehicle 2 to the braking power required for the constituted train is different from a load ratio of the braking power exerted by the electric brake of the other electric vehicle 3 to the braking power required for the constituted train.
