PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle air conditioner capable of appropriately maintaining heating capability during a heating operation without providing an accumulator.SOLUTION: A vehicle air conditioner comprises: a compressor; an outdoor heat exchanger; an evaporator; and an auxiliary condenser. The outdoor heat exchanger functions as an outdoor condenser during a cooling operation while functioning as an outdoor evaporator during a heating operation. A first expansion valve is provided in a first refrigerant circulation path in which refrigerant discharged from the compressor can circulate to return to the compressor by way of the outdoor heat exchanger and the evaporator in order. A second expansion valve is provided in a second refrigerant circulation path in which the refrigerant discharged from the compressor can circulate to return to the compressor by way of the auxiliary compressor and the outdoor heat exchanger in order. An opening of the second expansion valve is adjusted so that the refrigerant on an inlet of the compressor is in a state from a dryness of 0.9°C to an overheat degree of 5°C during the heating operation.
