According to the present invention, provided is a cable type secondary battery comprising an internal electrode; a separation layer which is formed by surrounding the outer surface of the internal electrode and prevents shorting of the electrode; and a sheet type external electrode which is formed and wound in a spiral shape by surrounding the separation layer or the internal electrode.
