PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a confocal microscope device that enables a three-dimensional pasting image to be generated in short time.SOLUTION: A confocal microscope device 1 generates a three-dimensional image from a plurality of first confocal images acquired at a different height in each of a plurality of different areas of a specimen 106, and generates an image by pasting the plurality of three-dimensional images. The confocal microscope device 1 comprises a confocal microscope main body 100 and a control device 112. In each of the plurality of areas, the control device 112 executes an AF process on the basis of height information on an area adjacent to the area and having the three-dimensional image generated, determines a second height range on the basis of a position in a height direction to be determined by the AF process, acquires a plurality of second confocal images in the second height range, and determines a first height range acquiring the plurality of first confocal images from a maximum value of the height in the area of the specimen 106 to be calculated from the plurality of second confocal images and a minimum value thereof. |
