PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel production method capable of producing R-1233zd(E body) in high yield and high selectivity.SOLUTION: A method of producing (E)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene comprises bringing a composition containing 1,3-dichloro-1,1,3-trifluoropropane with a metal catalyst to convert 1,3-dichloro-1,1,3-trifluoropropane into (E)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene. The metal catalyst is preferably a metal oxide or a metal halide. |
