PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction tool of a vacuum cleaner in which cooling efficiency of a motor and use feeling (acoustic feeling) of a user are improved, and a vacuum cleaner using the same.SOLUTION: A suction tool of a vacuum cleaner comprises: a first rotary cleaning body having a rotation axis parallel with a cleaning surface; a motor which has an output axis parallel with the rotation axis and rotationally drives the first rotary cleaning body; a control board which controls the motor; a suction port case which has a partition wall for partitioning between a suction chamber for supporting the first rotary cleaning body and a housing chamber arranged above the suction chamber and housing the motor and the control board. The suction port case includes at least one communication hole communicating the outer air and the housing chamber, and the communication hole is arranged at the position closer to the front side than the first rotary cleaning body.
