<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens unit capable of, even when an operation force originally necessary for a zoom adjustment mechanism itself is too large, rotating a rotary zoom operation ring with an appropriate operation force.SOLUTION: A lens unit (2) having a zoom function includes: a rotary zoom operation ring (30) configured to be operated by a user; a cam barrel (24) configured to rotate while being interlocked with the rotation of the rotary zoom operation ring; optical lens (6, 8, 10, 12) configured to be moved in an optical axis direction in accordance with the rotation of the cam barrel, and to perform zoom adjustment; a detection sensor (38) configured to detect an operation by the user added to the rotary zoom operation ring; and auxiliary actuators (40, 42, 52) configured to generate an assisting force to assist the rotation of the cam barrel on the basis of the operation detected by the detection sensor.</p> |
