According to the usual way, when an ID or a password is forgotten, an authentication number message is transmitted to a registered mobile phone of a member, and the member inputs a received authentication number, or inputs information such as a name, a date of birth, a mobile communications service company and a mobile phone number for user authentication, and then clicks confirmation. Then, an authentication number message is transmitted to a mobile phone of the user after user identification, and the user confirms the mobile phone number and confirms that he or she is the owner of the mobile phone again by inputting the received authentication number. But, because there is no SMS receiving function in case of a corded telephone, there is no service for user authentication using a corded telephone. The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for checking a telephone number and an owner of the corresponding telephone number using ARS technology. By the present invention, a telephone without an SMS receiving function can identify an owner of a telephone number. And, a mobile phone payment method, where a fare can be paid by being added to a mobile phone charge, can be applied to the corded telephone. |
