The invention relates to a metal framework for housing, automating, cleaning and protecting photovoltaic panels or mirrors (heliostats) from the elements. The framework is characterised in that each vertical row of the heliostats moves such as to follow the translation of the sun without the framework moving, and in that the mirrors are aligned with the upper or lower movement axles. In addition, the direction of the solar radiation towards the focal point can be adjusted independently: one mirror at a time, or one photovoltaic panel at a time in the direction of the sun. The mirrors and panels are cleaned automatically by means of sprayers, and only two motors are used for over one thousand heliostats on the same framework or mount. Said solar trackers have considerably reduced land requirements, while they can be closer to the focal point without losing affinity with said point, as well as eliminating solar radiation losses caused by the rough edges of larger types, resulting in losses owing to lack of focusing on the receiver. |
