PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audition apparatus which comprises a coil capable of switching operation modes.SOLUTION: An audition apparatus 102 comprises: a coil 202 which can switch between a communication mode for transmitting telephone call sound and a charging mode for charging the audition apparatus; and a coil operation mode selection unit 203 which selects one operation mode between a first coil operation mode in which the audition apparatus communicates with a wireless communication terminal 101 and a second coil operation mode for wirelessly charging a battery of the audition apparatus. The audition apparatus wirelessly receives power supply from an external apparatus by an electromagnetic induction method, and transmits call sound to a deaf person by the electromagnetic induction method.
