PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system capable of virtually enlarging a display area and improving work efficiency.SOLUTION: A projection system 1 comprises: a head-mounted display (HMD) 300 which is a projection device; a display 500; a camera 400 connected to the HMD; a PC 100 for controlling projection with the HMD 300; a PC 200 for controlling display at the display 500. The PC 200 generates image plane data to project with the HMD 300 and transmits the generated image plane data to the HMD 300 so that the display 500 displays a mark with which the HMD 300 identifies a position to project an image plane with regard to the display 500. The PC 100 analyzes a photographic image by the camera 500 to detect the mark, and based on the detected mark, makes the image plane being projected at a stipulated position.
