<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a multilayer ceramic electronic component in which cracks are hard to occur in a ceramic element assembly.SOLUTION: A ceramic layer and an internal electrode are alternately laminated with each other, and a ceramic element assembly 12 is prepared whose internal electrode is exposed to the end surface. An aqueous solution obtained by dissolving a complexing agent into water, the ceramic element assembly 12 and an abrasive material 42 are put in a polishing container 40 to perform polishing of the ceramic element assembly 12. An external electrode is formed by coating electrode paste on the end surface of the ceramic element assembly 12 having the internal electrode exposed to the end surface and baking it after barrel polishing.</p> |
