The device has an electrical conductor that is extended along longitudinal axis and is formed at the ends in each case with connecting elements. An insulation unit is arranged for surrounding the electrical conductor along the longitudinal axis. An outer conductor is provided for surrounding the insulation unit along the longitudinal axis. The insulation unit is made of silicone. The outer conductor is formed as a bending-resistant hollow cylinder, so as to ensure the mechanical strength and safety of the device. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing electrical current conducting device.
