<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device that enables a solid casing to be manufactured easily so as to reduce the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A sliding door device comprises a door body 1 opening and shutting in a freely manner to open and shut a doorway 2 having an opening, and a door pocket 3 for storing the door body 1 that opens the doorway 2 by opening movement.
