<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet head that maintains electrical insulation between ink and each electrode, and exhibits excellent print quality and durability. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet head includes: an actuator having a plurality of grooves to which ink is supplied, and composed of a piezoelectric material; and a nozzle plate fixed to the actuator with adhesive. In the nozzle plate, the open end of each groove is covered from above, and a plurality of nozzles are formed by a laser beam irradiated toward the grooves. The electrode is formed on the inner surface of each groove. The electrode is displaced from an area in the groove which is irradiated with a laser beam having passed through the nozzle plate. A protective film with electric insulation is formed on the electrode and on the inner surface of the groove corresponding to the area in the groove irradiated with the laser beam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
