The variator has a rotor unit that is integrated into a driving shaft (1) that is suspended between two stages (3) of a casing (2). The casing comprises a pressure device with a tapped ring (6), which in controlled rotation drives in translation a threaded ring (10). A conical thrust bearing (15) is utilized to compress a torque amplifier, and a set of stages of central conical rollers (14, 25) drives a coaxial driveshaft (32) by pressure at an output of the casing according to a torque modified by differential number of revolutions of the driving shaft. |
