<p>PURPOSE: A polyester film and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to obtain a biaxially oriented polyester film having optical diffusion property in the film itself and to have a uniform haze value through the whole surface of the film. CONSTITUTION: A polyester film includes a polyester polymer base layer having a layer for diffusing light. The polyester polymer base layer except for the layer for diffusing light has a matrix of a polyester resin with a melting point of Tm1. The layer for diffusing light includes optical diffusion particles which are dispersed on a transparent resin matrix. The transparent resin matrix comprises 20 - 80 weight% of a homopolyester resin having the melting point of Tm1 and 20 - 80 weight% of a copolymer resin having the melting point of Tm1 - 60°C < Tm2 < Tm1 - 10°C.</p> |
