<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor capable of effectively preventing brush discharge without using conventional highly resistant brushes.SOLUTION: The DC motor includes: a commutator 4 whose neighboring commutators 4B, 4B are lined up in a rotary peripheral direction through an insulation slit; and a brush main body 11 that slides and contacts the commutator 4. In a neighborhood of the commutator 4 and the brush main body 11, a magnetic flux generating member 41 that generates a magnetic field running in a direction orthogonal to a discharge direction generated at a contact portion between the commutator 4 and the brush main body 11 is provided.</p> |
