HYBRID IMPACT BEAM FOR CAR DOOR

摘要

A hybrid impact beam for a car door in accordance with the present invention is composed of a hollow-typed metal rod (1); and a fibrous body/resin composite material rod (2) to be inserted to the internal of a hollow hole of the hollow-typed metal rod (1). The present invention can improve ductility properties by configuring the outer of the impact beam, to where an impact is directly applied, with a metal material and simultaneously increase the strength of bending and elastic force and reduce a weight thereof by constituting the internal of the impact beam with a fibrous body/resin composite material.
