Method, control system and device for controlling an automatization system

The method involves providing a software module within a runtime environment with program functions (301, 302) executable within the environment. The program functions are proxy functions of a device function provided in controllers (101, 102) e.g. programmable logic controller. Function parameters of the program functions are modulated based on user inputs, which are provided through a user interface of the environment. The modulated parameters are transmitted from the environment to the controllers over a network e.g. internet. One of the parameters is set to a value of the other parameter. An independent claim is also included for a controller comprising a memory.
