PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus capable of efficiently separating a magnetic body-containing filter aid and suspended matters, and a water treatment method using the same.SOLUTION: The cleaning apparatus includes: a cleaning vessel 56 into which a dispersion solution that contains both foreign matters in filtered raw water and the magnetic body-containing filter aid is introduced; an agitation blade 55 which is rotary driven in the cleaning vessel, and agitates the dispersion solution by the action of a centrifugal force; and magnetic field generators 53, 54, 53a, and 54a which are disposed in an inner region than radius of gyration of the agitation blade, generates a magnetic field, acts the power of electromagnetic induction of the generated magnetic field to the magnetic body-containing filter aid in the dispersion solution, and separates the magnetic body-containing filter aid 13, that moves toward the inner region than the radius of gyration of the agitation blade by the action of the electromagnetic induction, from the foreign matters that move toward an outer region than the radius of gyration of the agitation blade by the action of the centrifugal force. |
