This optical display device production system has: a table, which supports an optical display component; a winding off unit, which winds off an optical member sheet; a control apparatus, which acquires data of in-plane distribution of the optical axes of the optical member sheet, and adjusts the cutting direction; a first cutting apparatus, which cuts the optical member sheet to be larger than a display region; a peeling unit, which peels a sheet piece from a separator sheet; a bonding head, which holds the sheet piece, and tilts; a driving apparatus, which relatively moves the bonding head and the table such that the cut side of the sheet piece and one side of the optical display component accord with each other or are parallel to each other; and a second cutting apparatus, which cuts to separate a sheet piece portion facing the display region, and a margin portion outside of the facing portion from each other. |
