<p>The present invention relates to a shank of a spot welding gun and, more specifically, to a shank of a spot welding gun capable of preventing cooling water in a shank from being discharged when a tip is detached, preventing welding defect generated when the shank directly touches a base material which is an object to be spot welded, and preventing the tip from being detached due to thermal expansion of the shank. To achieve this, the shank of a spot welding gun comprises: a shank mounted on an arm of a welding robot, has a hollow therein, and has a closed end part; a cooling water passage provided in the hollow of the shank to form a passage of cooling water; and a tip part coupled to the end part of the shank, and has a detachment preventing means.</p> |
