摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a hot gas defrosting type freezer system which has hot gas flowing inside an evaporator coil to remove frost on an outer surface of the evaporator coil, promptly and smoothly removes frost on a lower drain of the evaporator, and prevents damages to a compressor due to refrigerant liquefied by a hot gas defrosting process. The freezer system includes a compressor; a condenser connected to the compressor and a first pipe and having an oil separator installed on a pipe channel of the first pipe; an evaporator connected to the condenser and a second pipe, having a liquid receiver and a dryer installed on a pipe channel of the second pipe, connected to the compressor and a third pipe, having a liquid separator installed on a pipe channel of the third pipe, and installed inside a freezer; an expansion valve installed on the pipe channel of the second pipe in front of the evaporator; a hot gas defrost unit having a hot gas introduction pipe having one end connected to the first pipe and a first opening/closing valve installed on a pipe channel, a defrost coil having one end connected to the hot gas introduction pipe and arranged in the lower drain of the evaporator, and a hot gas supply pipe having one end connected to the defrost coil and the other end connected to the second pipe between the expansion valve and the evaporator; and a vaporization unit installed at the third pipe between the evaporator and the liquid separator, detecting the liquefied refrigerant introduced to the compressor through the third pipe, and vaporizing the liquefied refrigerant.</p>
