<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor device which can reliably detect a failure of a ground line.SOLUTION: A sensor device includes: a sensor unit 2 which outputs a sensor signal which is a voltage signal according to a physical quantity to be measured; a control unit 6 connected to the sensor unit 2 via a signal line 3 for transmitting the sensor signal, a power supply line 4, and a ground line 5, to detect physical quantity on the basis of the sensor signal; and a diagnosis unit 7 which diagnoses the ground line 5. The diagnosis unit 7 includes: ground-voltage switching means 9 which applies a voltage equal to or higher than a power-supply voltage which is applied to the power supply line 4, to the ground line 5 when the ground line 5 is diagnosed; and a failure determination unit 10 which determines that a failure of the ground line 5 exists if a voltage of the sensor signal to be obtained when a voltage equal to or higher than the power-supply voltage is applied to the ground line 5 by the ground-voltage switching means 9 is equal to or less than a preset threshold voltage.</p> |
