A release film for producing a green sheet of the present invention includes a base material and a release agent layer provided at a side of a first surface of the base material. The release agent layer includes an ultraviolet curable compound (A) having three or more reactive groups selected from the group consisting of a (meth)acryloyl group, an alkenyl group and a maleimide group in one molecule thereof, a polyorganosiloxane (B) and anα-aminoalkylphenone based photopolymerization initiator (C). An average thickness of the release agent layer is in the range of 0.3 to 2μm. An arithmetic average roughness Ra1 of an outer surface of the release agent layer is 8 nm or less and a maximum projection height Rp1 of the outer surface is 50 nm or lower. An arithmetic average roughness Ra2 of a second surface of the base material is in the range of 5 to 40 nm and a maximum projection height Rp2 of the second surface is in the range of 60 to 500 nm. According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent pinholes and variation in partially thickness from occurring to the green sheet.
