PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle assisting device and so on that are able to improve the reception accuracy of assisting information transmitted from a road side machine at an information communication spot such as an ITS service spot or the like.SOLUTION: In a DSRC on-vehicle device, on-vehicle assisting process is performed, thereby, based on a measurement result obtained by a power/distance calculation circuit, a vehicle 2 is guided so as to move to a position where assisting information transmitted from a road side machine is suitably received. In this case, the vehicle 2 is guided to a position within an area (target area) where most points (points not smaller than a threshold value) whose reception power measured by a power/distance calculation circuit is not less than threshold power are present in succession in the moving range of the vehicle 2 in an information communication spot (a parking area). Thus, regardless of the type and shape of the vehicle 2 and the surrounding environment thereof, the vehicle 2 can be guided to the widest communication area (target area) where radio field strength is actually satisfactory. |
