<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making acid-free newsprint paper, for producing newsprint paper in an acid-free papermaking condition, and which is capable of improving the yield and improving the productivity without damaging the texture. <P>SOLUTION: A macromolecular amphoteric polymer in the form of a water-in-oil type emulsion obtained by subjecting a vinylic monomer or a mixture of the vinylic monomer to emulsion polymerization, is a papermaking chemical suitable for the method for making acid-free newsprint paper, in the papermaking raw materials before papermaking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
