[Class 53] An electrode adapted to be depolarized by atmospheric oxygen comprises a mixture of coke and cerium potassium carbonate to which may also be added a quantity of platinized asbestos and solid ammonium chloride. The mixture is moistened with electrolyte and pressed round a carbon core.
