<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating exhaust gas, in which the exhaust gas containing an easily polymerizable substance can be treated stably over a long period of time and the temperature of a combustion reaction can be controlled easily. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for treating exhaust gas is provided with: a first fixed-bed adiabatic combustion reactor 10 and a second fixed-bed adiabatic combustion reactor 20 in each of which a combustion catalyst is packed; coolers (a first heat exchanger 30 and a second heat exchanger 40) for cooling the gas discharged from the second fixed-bed adiabatic combustion reactor 20; and a blower 50 for supplying at least a part of the gas discharged from the coolers to a pipeline on the upstream side of the second fixed-bed adiabatic combustion reactor 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
