The invention relates to a wheel disc for a rail vehicle with a wheel hub surrounding a rotary axle; - a wheel rim; and - a web connecting the wheel hub with the wheel rim. The invention is characterised in that - a transition between the web and the wheel hub and/or a transition between the web and the wheel rim is formed on at least one axial side on each radial section plane such that - the transition is formed by a tangent function, - the tangent function merges into the contour of the web with a constant tangent; and - the tangent function merges into the contour of the wheel hub or the wheel rim with a constant tangent.
